2008 Nature Day Camp

Join StrangeBird  for HHLT’s 11^th annual nature day camp for ages 7 - 11 year olds.  Discover Harpswell’s unique environment and varied habitats beginning the week of August 4, 2008.    

We will return to our familiar haunts plus a new mystery environment.  Come with us to explore mud flats and beaches, salt marshes and fresh water ponds, and study tidal pools and estuaries.  In order to experience the different ecosystems, each day’s activities will be at a different Harpswell location.  Grant Connors,  instructor and teacher at SAD75 Middle School, will lead the hunt not only for creatures with shells, but some furry ones as well.
