Charles Norton Easement

The 17-acre Charles Norton Easement is part of a 20-acre mix of forest and wetland running from the Harpswell Neck Road to 360 feet of shorefront on Wilson's Cove on Middle Bay. A 3-acre developed area near the shore is not included in the easement. A one-half mile trail leads from the small parking lot next to the Harpswell Neck Road to a cliff at the shore of Wilson's Cove. The cliff offers a scenic outlook onto Middle Bay.

Public Access: Yes, limited to the trail corridor along the northern side of the property.

Rules of Use:
1. Open dawn to dusk only.
2. Pedestrian use only. Stay on trail.
3. No motor vehicles or bicycles. No overnight parking.
4. Carry in, carry out.
5. Take only pictures. Leave only footprints.
6. No open fires or camping.
7. Dogs must be on a leash.
8. No hunting or discharge of firearms.
9. This trail is on private property. Please respect the adjacent landowners' privacy.

Directions:
The parking lot for the Wilson's Cove Trail is located on the west side of the Harpswell Neck Road 0.9 miles south of the Mountain Road and 0.9 miles north of the Lookout Point Road.
