Eagle Island

A State Historic Site, the 13-acre Eagle Island was once the summer home of Admiral Richard Peary of North Pole fame. The Peary home and gardens are now a museum. Panoramic views of ocean scenery, squawking seagulls, and fragrant flowers abound. Eagle Island is managed by Bureau of Parks and Lands with help from the Friends of Peary's Eagle Island.
