Pond Island

Pond Island is a 19-acre habitat for the roseate tern, which is on both the State and federal lists of endangered specie, as well as common and least terns. It is managed by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife as part of the Coast of Maine Wildlife Management Area. Please do not land on the island or disturb the birds between March 15th and August 15th.
